Who knew (kneew+ohld) friends could rock together so hard?

- Gav and Karen finally left, they're in the states now, Boston? Maine? They visited for almost a whole 3 weeks instead of the the planned 3 days. Now I AM terribly sorry for Gavins several emergency dental surgeries but the fact that it kept them here for so long? Not so bad. I saw them SO MUCH. I really think it's incredible - someone I've known since the 1st grade but who moved to Vancouver in the 10th... that I still see them once a year? Regularly? Fall 09 they came here, fall 08 I went to Van, fall 07 they cam here, summer 06 I went to Van, 05 they were here.... really just incredible. I almost feel blessed. OH, LOTR!

This is just for me so I can remember all of it always;
1. Jessica and I met them for dinner at Nickles and lovely hellos
2. Gav, Kare, Jor and Jessica came to my salon to get haircuts with Mike (Jor fell in lust...)
3. After work on said salon day, I went to Nicks to find a wonderful appleporkpie brownsugaryam pepperporkchopsmotheredinhomemadeapplesauce makeshift Thanksgiving dinner.
4. Went out to Sky with them all, invited Mike, got along splendidly as previously mentioned (Jor fell in hyper-lust). Went back very drunk and very happy to sleep at Jor's, watch the Little Mermaid and wake up to fresh cinnamon buns homemade by Kare for Gavs birthday (Jor got what he wanted and then switched into clingy mode).
5. Saw them a final time at the movies (WHIP IT WAS EXCELLENT, GO SEE IT), again with Mike, made happy goodbyes (Jor was dejected and grumpy! I love him).

+ The day we saw Whip It was part of a Cass and Mike Bonding Marathon. He came over to make dinner crepes at my house (steak, swiss, roasted balsamic aubergine etc) and drink a 40 of rum. We actually ran out and had to go purchase a tub of depaneur "house wine"! Passed out togther at midnight! Woke up and drove out to Chateauguay to meet his mom, cats and sweet sweet dog ( I hate dogs, right? I fell in love). Spent the afternoon before heading out to the movies. Drank beer like tweens in the theatre, drove home and slept over there. Learned how to microwave an egg (not the poach-fail I've made but just... fried without the butter) and walked out the door 48 hours later saying "It feels weird to be going somewhere without you" to which he responded "I know, right? We almost acheived common law status this weekend".

- Was Ko's birthday dinner. Tevel showed up. I learned I really hate him unless I'm drunk.

+ Have a tiny bit of cash for a possible tattoo. "Wherefore L'Amour" in script on my foot? "How to leave the boy behind without having to watch him go" in two small lines across the top of my back? Too many quote tattoos? I don't have enough for my love robots yet.

+ Probably going to Rocky twice this year, once with the usual great big crowd on the 31st, and again on the 1st in order to introduce Mike to it. I'm pretty stoked to get a kit together and introduce this willing virgin.
